A Modern Preschool
A New Approach To Preschool
LE3 INC began as an endeavor to provide high quality, low cost before/after school care to families in WNY. Our model was built with the modern family in mind. After several years of positive feedback to our flexible model, we realized that we could offer the same benefits and more with a full time, year-round preschool.
What we've been able to build is a preschool featuring qualified teachers with small class sizes. Each child in our care receives individual attention and a curriculum that's easily modified to their level. At LE3 Academy we encourage hands-on learning or learn through play, as well as more traditional academics. You can see a thorough explanation of our curriculum here.
The program wasn't solely created with the children in mind- every decision is made with parents in mind! A unique feature of all LE3 programs is our flexible scheduling. We have no daily or hourly minimum- you can build your school schedule around your life, not the other way around! You never pay for what you don't use: if your child needs to miss school for a sick day, you don't pay. We also offer extended hours, 12-month programming, and healthy meals & snacks are included.
Curriculum-Learning Through Play
At LE3 Academy, we offer extended day programming to our pre-schoolers for no additional fee. Before School begins at 6:45 am and includes breakfast and some quiet time to get ready for the day.
Preschool kicks off at 8:30 with morning tubs (sensory exploration), followed by circle time and literacy centers. Every day we work on developing motor skills, social skills, independent thinking, and character growth. Our students understand letters, numbers, weather, and colors through a mix of games. We always provide a positive and safe environment for kids to explore and learn.
After School programming runs from 2:30-6pm and includes a snack. This time is a great time to unwind and let kids direct their play after a very full day!
Every day, our Director leads an art class that ties in a story and the theme of the week. Art spans from the basics (cutting, pasting, holding a crayon) to process art, to higher concepts and styles. Our Assistant Director connects relevant sign language to the lesson, creating a deeply immersive and well-rounded learning experience.
Movement and exercise is a key part of our curriculum! Three times a week, our gym teacher leads the fun in thoughtfully planned, challenging activities. We also have use of the playground and courtyard outside, so whether it's an obstacle course, music & movement, yoga, or a nature walk, we're always on the move.
The LE3 Academy program culminates in kindergarten readiness. Our unique space at North Church helps future kindergartners be prepared to transition from room to room with ease, socialize with confidence, and exercise respectful classroom behavior- all before day one of elementary school.
Fresh & Nutritious
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
The perfect time to build on these skills is around a table with friends. At LE3, we provide breakfast, morning snack, homemade lunch, and afternoon snack with your daily fee.
Our Chef makes kid-friendly meals to ensure all nutritional needs are being met. She integrates new foods that children do not always want to try at home...vegetables, and fruits! All our shopping is done weekly to ensure items are fresh! All meals are served hot. Our staff always eat at the table with children to ensure they are eating and not sharing food but to encourage the above-mentioned skills.
At LE3 you only pay for the days your children are in our care. We understand the importance of being able to provide for your family. LE3 Academy follows the Williamsville Central School District. On days that the district is off for staff development or holiday we also "close" the preschool.
With the exception of major holidays, we are still open for care on days WCSD is closed. We switch from a school day curriculum to a camp day. This allows families who can take the day off to feel confident their child is not missing a school day, while parents who need care that day are covered. If your child does not attend a day of school due to illness, vacation, or just a family fun skip work day, you will NOT be charged!
We offer full day rate and half day rates! We accept Daycare Assistance Payments, Flex Spending, Erie County Payments, and are also enrolled in the Child Care Aware Program for Military Families.
Additionally, if you love our program and know this is where your child should start their education but just do not think you can swing the price, call our CEO, Ellie. We are a family run organization with the mission to Locally Enrich Educational Experiences for all children. We are NOT on a mission to provide care that cost an arm and a leg!
